DAY 1: am pick up, to fort portal
In the morning you will be picked up from Kampala and transferred west to Fort Portal. Stop over at the historical Nakayima tree in Mubende, said to have ‘blessings’ and thereafter, transfer to Mountain of the Moon Hotel or Rwenzori View Guest House for dinner and overnight. Meal Plan – Lunch and dinner.

DAY 2: karambi tombs, omuKAMA PALACE
After breakfast, transfer to visit the cultural Karambi tombs and in the afternoon, visit the Omukama’s palace at Fort Portal.

DAY 3: AMABERE STALAGAMITES, TO QUEEN ELIZABETH PARK
Visit the Amabere ga Nyinamwiru in the morning and thereafter, transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park arriving in time for lunch. You may opt for an evening game drive before dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge or Jacana Lodge. Meal Plan – Breakfast, lunch and dinner.

DAY 4: AM BOAT RIDE, PM LAUNCH CRUISE
After an early morning breakfast, transfer for another game drive, this time along the Kasenyi track which holds high chances of meeting the cats in action. More range mammals such as Uganda Kobs, bush pigs, hyenas, water bucks, elephants, buffaloes, etc graze the plains. In the afternoon you will take a launch cruise along the Kazinga Channel known to hold the highest concentration of hippos in Africa and an impressive array of birdlife. Meal Plan – Breakfast, lunch and dinner.

DAY 5: TO KAMPALA
After breakfast, return to Kampala. Meal Plan – Breakfast and lunch.
