Chimpanzee Safari in Uganda

The African rainforest is also home to man’s closest relative, the chimpanzee, a delightful ape whose evocative pant-hoot call is the definitive sound of the Ugandan jungle. You may spend a whole day with these relatives in a day’s habituation tour or simply track them in a scheduled visit with other participants.
Efforts to permanently habituate the chimpanzees have been remarkably successful offering opportunities for the more adventurous to interact one-on-one with them. You may participate in the feeding of baby chimps and communicating with the adults on Ngamba Island in Lake Victoria.
