TOU B121 BIRDING HOLIDAY AT LAKE BUNYONYI (4DAYS / 3NIGHTS)
- DAY 1
You will be picked up from your overnight accommodation in Kampala and transferred to Lake Bunyonyi Safari Resort in Kabale, making a stopover at the Mpambire drum makers to shop for a souvenir, the Uganda Equator to take pictures, and Agip Motel in Mbarara for lunch. Meal Plan – Lunch and dinner

DAY 2
After breakfast, visit the 1950s lepers’ asylum and the upside down island. Look out for endemic birds resident here in Lake Bunyonyi like the Handsome Francolin, Dusky Turtle Dove, Alpine Chat, etc. Meal Plan – Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

DAY 3
Morning: Cray fishing. Afternoon: Take a boat trip to visit the pygmies who will welcome you with drumming and ecstatic dancing. Do not ignore the exciting whistling of the concentrated birdlife in this area. You will find an afternoon with the pygmies and bird-watching, a worthwhile pastime. Meal Plan – Breakfast, Lunch and dinner.

Transfer back to Kampala. Stop over at the Agip Motel in Mbarara for lunch.
