Murchison Falls Safari Uganda
TOU\B102 MURCHISON FALLS PARK (3DAYS / 2NIGHTS)
- DAY 1
You will be picked up from your overnight accommodation in Kampala and begin the panoramic drive northwest through the famous Luweero Triangle and Masindi town to Murchison Falls National Park. Stopover in Masindi town for lunch. Dinner and overnight at Paraa Safari Lodge or Sambiya Lodge. Meal Plan – Lunch and Dinner. TRANSIT TIME 4 – 6 HRS.
- DAY 2
After an early morning breakfast, you will take an early morning game drive along the Buligi Circuit, escorted by a ranger guide. Game in this area includes lions, the legendary giant forest hog, large herds of elephants making their way down to the water, buffalo, warthog , bush bucks, etc. Return to the lodge for lunch and in the afternoon, proceed on a boat cruise upstream the Victoria Nile to the bottom of the falls at the “Devil’s Cauldron”. Along the river banks is a paradise of hippos and crocodiles. Take pictures of Murchison Falls and later return to your accommodation for dinner and the night. Meal Plan – Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
- DAY 3
After an early breakfast, proceed to the top of the falls where you can see the Nile’s perfect beauty. Marvel at the river as it compresses to squeeze through a 7-metre canyon and drops 45 metres below with a thunderous roar, forming a beautiful rainbow. Later drive back to Kampala. Meal Plan – Breakfast and lunch. TRANSIT TIME 4 – 6 HRS
Includes: Accommodation, meals, park entry fees, ranger guide fees, game drives, visit to the top of the falls, launch cruise, bottled mineral water and 4x4 ground transportation in a safari vehicle with an English-speaking driver guide.
