TOU KK001: PRESIDENT OBAMA’S ROOTS SAFARI
- Day 1: Nairobi
Arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, Nairobi, you will be met by our representative and transferred to the Holiday Inn Hotel. You will enjoy sightseeing of Nairobi city enroute. Dinner and overnight the Holiday Inn Hotel. Meal Plan – Bed and Breakfast.
- Day 2: Nairobi and Samburu National Game Reserve
After breakfast pick up and leave for Samburu through Central Kenya and across the equator to Samburu National Reserve. Arrive at Samburu Serena Safari Lodge in time for lunch. Take an evening game drive before.Dinner and overnight at Samburu Serena Safari Lodge. Meal Plan – Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
- Day 3: Samburu
Morning and Afternoon game drive in the Samburu reserve. Enroute you will see the Koitogor and Ololokwe ranges. Samburu National Reserve is very peaceful and attracts animals because of Uaso Nyiro River that runs through it and the mixture of acacia, riverine forest, thorn trees and grassland vegetation. There is a wide variety of animal and bird life seen at the reserve. Species endemic to this region, include all three big cats, Lion, Cheetah and Leopard, Elephants, Buffalos and Hippos. Other wildlife in the park include Gerenuk, Grant's Gazelle, Kirk's Dik-dik, Impala, Waterbuck, Grevy's Zebra, Beisa Oryx and Reticulated Giraffe.There are over 350 species of bird including Somali Ostrich, Kingfisher, Sunbird, Bee-eater, Marabou Stork, Tawny Eagle, Bateleur, Guinea fowl and Vultures. The Uaso Nyiro River contains large numbers of Nile crocodile. Meals and overnight at Samburu Serena Safari Lodge
- Day 4: Samburu and Aberdares
Morning after breakfast checkout and head to Aberdares National Park. lunch enroute at Outspan Hotel and later in the afternoon transfer to Treetops Lodge. Aberdares National Park has a diverse topography that includes icy rivers, spectacular waterfalls and rain forests. Game in this area include: Leopard, elephant, waterbuck, reedbuck, dik dik, rhino and the rare bongo can all be found here. You are sure to see elephants, buffalos and other animals at the floodlit waterholes of Treetops Lodge. Accomodation at Treetops Lodge. Meal Plan – Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
- Day 5: Aberdares and Lake Nakuru
After breakfast depart for Lake Nakuru National Park. Lake Nakuru is world famous for its stunning flocks of lesser flamingoes which turns its shores pink. Its birdlife is world renowned. On arrival in the park, have a game drive en route to Lake Nakuru Lodge, which is situated in the southeast ecological niche of the Lake Nakuru National Park. The lodge blends well with its surrounding and the animals often browse peacefully close to the gardens. After lunch at the lodge proceed for the afternoon game drive around the lake until sunset. All meals and overnight at Lake Nakuru Lodge.
- Day 6: Lake Nakuru and Lake Naivasha
Have an early morning game drive in search of leopard and rhino returning to the lodge for breakfast. Check-out after breakfast and continue to Lake Naivasha Bird Sanctuary arriving at Naivasha Crater Lake Lodge at midday for lunch. Lake Naivasha is one of the Great Rift Valley's jewels, reflecting the tranquil beauty of an African sky and the surrounding mountains is temporarily distorted as flocks of graceful flamingos and pink-backed pelicans settle on the water. Relax after lunch at the hotel and have chance to enjoy the hotel facilities and optional activities on offer. All meals and overnight at Naivasha Crater Lake Lodge.
- Day 7: Lake Naivasha and Masai Mara
Depart after early breakfast and continue to Masai Mara Game Reserve arriving at Mara Serena Safari Lodge in time for lunch. Later proceed for the afternoon game drive until sunset in search of the Big Five. All meals and overnight at Mara Serena Safari Lodge.
- Day 8-9: Masai Mara
Morning and afternoon game drive. (Full day game drive is an option with packed lunch) in Maasai Mara.The Masai Mara Game (Wildlife) Reserve is Kenya's most popular game reserve in Africa and world renowned due to the spectacular annual migration of wildebeests. Mara is always on the Must See List of every tourist.The park is full of life with various types of animals, including the Big Five, and birds. Masai Mara is a rolling grasslands and acacia savannah have time and again been captured on film with the movie Out of Africa being the most famous.
The park is home the Elephant, Buffalo, Lion, Leopard and Rhino – Africa’s famous Big Five - and over 450 bird species. Apart from the big five, the Masai Mara is most famous for the spectacular annual migration of over a million wildebeest, zebra, gazelle etc from the Serengeti in northern Tanzania crossing the Mara River into Kenya in search of fresh feeding grounds, which takes place in late July or August.
During this crossing, hundreds of animals are swept away by the first moving Mara River and others are killed by the ferocious African Crocodiles.

- Day 10: Masai Mara and Kisumu
Early breakfast at Mara Serena and then depart for Kisumu Town by road as you enjoy the countryside. You’ll stop at Kericho Tea Hotel for lunch and spend about 30 minutes touring a tea plantation. Continue with your journey and arrive at Imperial Hotel in Kisumu Town late afternoon. The hotel is on the shores of the World's second largest fresh water lake - Lake Victoria. Dinner and overnight at the Imperial Hotel.
- Day 11: Kisumu and Kogelo Village
Early breakfast at your hotel and then depart with packed lunch for Kogelo Village – the ancestral home of President-Elect Barack Obama. This is a typical Kenyan rural village with most residents living modestly by small-scale farming. After Obama visited the village some years back, a primary school, a secondary school and a health centre were named after him. Obama’s father is buried in the village. Previously the village had no electricity, but the Kenyan government connected power a day after Obama won the presidency. Spend whole day at Kogelo Village and return to Imperial Hotel in the evening. All meals and overnight at Imperial Hotel.
- Day 12: Kisumu-Nairobi
Check out from your hotel after breakfast. Conducted to an hour’s tour of Kisumu city and Lake Victoria as you depart for Nairobi. Stop in Nakuru town for lunch at Flamingo Hill Camp and arrive at Holiday Inn Hotel in Nairobi late afternoon. Diner and overnight at Holiday Inn Hotel.
- Day 13: Depart Home
Transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport to catch your scheduled international flight home.
TOUKK002: ZANZIBAR BEACHES Honeymoon Holiday (6 Days/ 5Nights Safari)
- DAY 1: NAIROBI
Our representative will meet you at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi and transfer you either Nairobi Safari Club or The Sarova Stanley Hotel. On arrival, a hotel staff will receive you with a complimentary welcome cocktail drink, bouquet of flowers and checked in at honeymooners’ suite on all meals.
- DAY 2: NAIROBI-ZANZIBAR
You’ll check out of your hotel after breakfast and leave for Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or Wilson Airport for a connection flight to Zanzibar Island.
You’ll arrive in Zanzibar in time for lunch at Mapenzi Beach Club. “Mapenzi” is the Swahili word for love and Mapenzi Beach Club is famous for being a lovers’ paradise on earth.
- DAY 3: TOUR RAS NUGWI
Take a guided tour of Zanzibar after breakfast and before we embark on a journey to Ras Nungwi on the Northern most tip of Zanzibar. Ras Nungwi is widely considered as the most beautiful beach on the island and Ras Nungwi Hotel is situated very near from the sparkling Indian Ocean waters.
Guests' chalets are designed in a simple Swahili style with balconies from which to enjoy the sea views. Your days at Nungwi can be spent diving or snorkelling or simply enjoying the magic of the location. Dinner and overnight at Ras Nugwi Hotel.
- DAY 4: RAS NUGWI HOTEL AND MNARANI BEACH COTTAGES
You will check out of Ras Nugwi Hotel after breakfast and re-locate to Mnarani Beach Cottages. You’ll spend the rest of the day in this facility on all meals and overnight.
- DAY 5: VISIT STONE TOWN
After breakfast, you’ll visit Stone Town for romantic walks in this historical town. We’ll return to Mnarani Beach Cottages. After lunch at a restaurant.
- DAY 6: DEPART FOR HOME
After breakfast, you’ll leave for Nairobi in time for lunch in a city restaurant. Our driver/guide will then see you off to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your flight home.
TOUKK 003: BEST OF KENYA Amboseli - Aberdares - Samburu - L.Baringo/L.Bogoria - L.Nakuru - Masai Mara (10 Days / 9Nights) Safari
- DAY 01: NAIROBI
Upon arrival at the JKIA Airport, met by our representative & transferred to Nairobi Safari Club the only all suite hotel in Nairobi. Afternoon at leisure, later in the evening a complimentary welcome dinner at the Carnivore Restaurant, overnight at Nairobi Safari Club (BB).
- DAY 02: NAIROBI - AMBOSELI
After an early morning breakfast, proceed with your safari by road to Amboseli National Park. The park and surrounding game reserve cover 1260 sq miles and is mostly arid woodland with a series of swamps and lakes that provides a year round water supply for wildlife. The snowcapped peak of Kilimanjaro rising above a saucer of clouds, dominates every aspect of Amboseli and forms a backdrop to an impressive display of wildlife with its population of lion, huge hard of elephant, buffalo e.t.c. With a game drive en-route you'll arrive to your lodge for lunch. Ol-Tukai Lodge is camouflaged in a forest of fever trees and palms and well designed cottage style accommodation spreads out on either side of the main lodge. Afternoon game drive, dinner & overnight at Ol-Tukai Lodge (BLD).
- DAY 03: AMBOSELI - ABERDARES
After early breakfast, continue with your safari by road to Nairobi via Namanga for an early lunch. After lunch drive further north through coffee plantation to Mountain Lodge. Mountain Lodge is one of the exotic "Tree Hotel" situated at the heart of Mt. Kenya forests. What an afternoon and better part of evening as you watch forest animals from the balcony of your room as the visit waterholes and saltlick which just next to your "Tree Hotel". Dinner & overnight at Mountain Lodge (BLD).
- DAY 04: ABERDARES - SAMBURU
After breakfast, drive further north to Sarova Shaba Lodge. It's located high above the banks life-giving Uaso Nyiro River in the Shaba Game Reserve. This lodge cleverly incorporates the beautiful natural springs as one of its special features, and also offers the perfect base from which to explore the Shaba Reserve, as well as its sister reserve - Buffalo Springs to the west. Lunch will be served in the lodge. Afternoon game viewing in the reserve filled with the scenic beauty. The reserve is renowned for its unique species of animals that includes Somali Ostrich, Reticulated Giraffe, Beisa Oryx, Generuk and the Grevys' Zebra among others. Later return to your lodge for dinner and overnight. Sarova Shaba Lodge (BLD).
- DAY 05: SAMBURU
Before dawn your driver guide will be ready for the early morning search of hunting cats. Later you will return to lodge for breakfast and relax at the swimming pool before your next game drive late afternoon. All meals & overnight at Sarova Shaba Lodge (BLD).
- Day 06: SAMBURU – LAKE BOGORIA/LAKE BARINGO
After breakfast, proceed with your safari to Lake Bogoria well know for it's Hot spring and geysers dotted all around southern shore of the lake. These are sulfur water gushing out of the ground and known to have therapeutic values hence are natural spas and steam bath/sauna. A short walk around the lake and your lunch served at Lake Bogoria Hotel. After lunch drive further Lake Baringo one of the leading ornithology lakes in East Africa. You will check-in at Lake Baringo Country Club a superb and compact hotel set at the shores of Lake Baringo. A boat ride around the lake will be the feature of the afternoon. Dinner and overnight at Lake Baringo Country Club (BLD).
- DAY 07: LAKE BARINGO - LAKE NAKURU
After breakfast, bid farewell to Lake Baringo as you travel southwards to Lake Nakuru colored a shimmering flamingo pink from thousands of the beautiful birds lining its shores. You'll arrive at Lake Nakuru Lodge affording unforgettable views of the lake from its hillside perch. The Lodge also is a perfect base from which to explore the lake and its surrounding environs, with its fabulous array of birds as well as many types of game, including waterbuck, rhino, leopard and buffalo etc. Lunch will be served at the Lodge. Enjoy an afternoon game drive in the park. Dinner and overnight at Lake Nakuru Lodge (BLD).
- DAY 08: LAKE NAKURU - MASAI MARA
Soon after breakfast, drive across the floor of the Great Rift Valley the longest rift in the crust of the Earth to Masai Mara Game Reserve the unspoiled Savannah. Masai Mara is actually the northern portion of the Great Plains ecosystem in the neighboring Tanzania called Serengeti. It is a home to the "big five" lion, buffalo, rhino, leopard and elephant as well cheetah, zebra, giraffe and vast herds of plain antelope and numerous and other wildlife. After lunch and some time to relax and perhaps take a dip in the pool, you will depart with your driver guide for an afternoon game drive in search of the big five. As sun starts to edge dip into the horizon it will be perfect time to photograph the beautiful Mara rolling plains. Don't forget this is the right time to spot the shy leopard. Dinner & overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge (BLD).
- DAY 09: MASAI MARA
Early morning game drive before the dawn is perfect start for the day. In between the morning and afternoon game drives relax and enjoy the ambiance at your lodge. All meals and overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge (BLD).
- DAY 10: MASAI MARA - NAIROBI - AIRPORT
After breakfast, return to Nairobi arriving in time for lunch at Toona Tree Restaurant. In the afternoon enjoy a Nairobi City Tour which will give way to your complimentary dinner at Carnivore Restaurant. Thereafter you will be transferred to the Airport for your international connection. (BLD)
TOUKK 004: CHOGORIA – BURGURET FACE OF MOUNT KENYA (8 DAYS/ 7 NIGHTS)
- DAY 01: NAIROBI PICK UP
Leave Nairobi at 11.00 am and drive through small scale farmland to Embu, capital of the central province. Lunch will be taken on the way. Dinner and Overnight will be at Isaac Walton, a small hotel set amidst a beautiful gardens.
- DAY 02: CHOGORIA
After breakfast you leave for Chogoria where special where special land rovers are waiting to take you to the Meru Mt. Kenya Bandas in (3000m). After a lunch break and introduction to the crew your 2hour hike to the roadhead at 3300m starts. Dinner and overnight will be at a well set fly camp next to a small river.
- DAY 03: LAKE MICHEALSON
After breakfast a 12 km hike along a ridge with spectacular views of Lake Michaelson in the gorge valley below Takes you close to Mintos hut before you take a lunch break and descend to the gorge valley for a scenic camp night on the shores of lake Michaelson. Dinner and overnight will be at the fly camp.
- DAY 04: ASCENT
Today’s hike is rather short and takes you up the escarpment to the Mintos Hut ( 4200 ) next to the Hall tarns. After the rather steep ascend you will take rest for lunch here. In the afternoon the hike continues along the moorland towards Point Lenana. At the Simba tarn just on the base of Point Lenana camp will be set again. You enjoy your dinner while marveling the spectacular of Nelion and Batian, the main peaks of Mt.Kenya and Point Lenana the your challenge for tomorrow.
- DAY 05: BATIAN AND NELION PEAKS
After an early morning breakfast at 5.00 am, the track will lead via a steep screed to the Simba cole and further on to point Lenana (4895m). You descend via Lewis glacier on the southern side and continue your hike to the two tarn hut. Lunch will be taken at the amercian camp. The camp will be set at the two tarnhut with magnificent views of Batian and Nelion towering above you.
- DAY 06: MACHENGERI CAMP
Today, you descend on the western side of the mountain to the Machengeni camp a clearing at 3000m in the giant bamboo forest. A lunch break will be taken on the way at a scenic spot in the grassland with the Highland Castle above you and the Burguret river below you on the way. Dinner and overnight will be at the flycamp.
- DAY 07: LAIKIPIA, SWEETWATERS
After breakfast you descend to the forest station where your vehicles will be waiting for you to take you to Mountain Rock Hotel for lunch. In the afternoon, proceed to Sweetwaters in the Laikipia plains for a shower and an evening game drive. Dinner and overnight will be at the Sweetwaters tented camp.
- DAY 08: CHIMPANZEES, LAIKIPIA PLAINS
A game drive after breakfast offers a very unique opportunity of viewing the rare Chimpanzee and reveals the richness of game in the Laikipia plains. After a delicious lunch at the tented camp your Mt. Kenya adventure comes to an end and a 3 hours transfer through the fertile central province farmlands takes you to Nairobi.
